Plays well with others

I’m Lawrence “Loz” Newman, a life-long gamer who’s enjoyed role-playing games of all sorts over the last quarter-century. Role-playing gaming quickly became a real passion for me: an endless variety of challenges, improvisation and laughter in “New worlds and new civilisations”. Even when I emigrated from England to Besançon, in eastern France, the language barrier barely slowed me down! Recently I co-founded, and became President of, a gaming association (”La Ligue des Stratèges”) to help others discover and learn to enjoy role-playing.

Through the years I’ve enjoyed playing over a hundred different RPGs, and even created several of my own as well (Fantasy (Instant Game), and Modern (Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity) to name just two). My love of board- and card-gaming, Paintball, and LARPing all sprang from my role-playing and enrich it.

In my spare (hah!) time, I create text and Excel files to help make Players and Game Masters lives easier, and write guest articles on tips for gamers. I’ll post links to some of them later…
